About tow and fert
The Tow and Fert applies fertiliser as a liquid suspension rather than as granules, which means product goes onto the leaf and into the soil evenly instead of landing as scattered prills. Fine products that would never spread properly dry can be held in suspension and put out accurately.
That opens up mixes you cannot do with a spreader. Urea, humates, cobalt sulphate and colloidal phosphate can all go on together in the one pass, at rates you choose, rather than being applied separately or not at all. Colloidal phosphate does not dissolve, but as a fine powder it stays suspended in the tank and goes out evenly.
Good for: Farmers wanting foliar nutrition, fine or unspreadable products, or several inputs applied accurately in a single pass.

How we do it
Two tanks carry 2400 litres in total and spread at 18 metres, which works out around 20 hectares per load depending on your rate. Each tank can hold up to 500kg of urea in suspension. Mixes are made up on site to whatever recipe you and your fert rep have settled on.
